How to Change the Number of Days to Sync Email on an iOS Device (Spartan Mail)

Objective

Following these steps will change the number of days back that the Exchange account on an iOS device will look to synchronize emails.

Environment

iOS v16

Before You Begin

By default the Exchange account will be set to sync 1 month of email to your device. As of this writing, the available options were:

  • No Limit (sync everything)
  • 1 Day
  • 3 Days
  • 1 Week
  • 2 Weeks
  • 1 Month (the default)

Steps

  1. Go to Settings on your iOS device
  2. Select Mail
  3. Select Accounts
  4. Select your MSU email account
  5. Select Mail Days to Sync and then select the time period you need
