Objective
Following these steps will add your Spartan Mail account to a local Windows 10 Mail app.

Before You Begin
If you do not have access or have difficulties with the Outlook client (for instance, no longer licensed for Outlook with Spartan 365), we recommend the web interface at spartanmail.msu.edu.
To avoid loss of messages or other data if you choose to configure an account instead of using spartanmail.msu.edu:
- Add a new account to begin checking your Spartan Mail messages on a new mail client app.
- Disable but do not delete the old/existing account login or mail sync option. This will preserve any messages, contacts, or calendar entries that are only saved on your device.
Steps
- Select the Windows icon in the lower left.
- Select Mail.
- Select the plus ( + ) sign in the dialog.
- Select Exchange and follow the prompts.
- Enter your MSU email address in the form of NetID@msu.edu
- Enter your password (must be less than 365 days old).
- You're done! You've added your Spartan Mail account to Win10 Mail.
