Download Remote Server Administration Tools
First, download and install the Remote Server Administration Tools on your computer. Search for "Remote Server Administration Tools" at Microsoft.com to find the version for your desired operating system.

Enable Group Policy Editor
After the program is installed:
- Go to Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features
- Select Turn Windows features on or off
- Expand Remote Server Administration Tools
- Place a check next to Group Policy Editor
The Group Policy Editor is only available in Windows 7/8/8.1 Professional or higher. The Starter/Home Basic/Home Premium editions do not enable this functionality by default and is not supported by Microsoft

Run Group Policy Management Tools
Windows 7
From the Start Menu, select All Programs | Administrative Tools | Group Policy Management.
Windows 8/8.1
Use the Windows+Q shortcut to bring up the Search function, then enter 'Edit Group Policy', and select the available result.
