Overview

This article lists the browsers confirmed supported for Spartan Marketplace by ESM. Some browsers have special settings that are recommended for best results.

** If the link is not opening in ebs.msu.edu, you may need to add the officemax site as a trusted site. Allowing pop ups has not worked very well. Nor holding down the ctrl key.

Special Settings for Browsers

Chrome settings:

1. Launch Chrome
2. Click the Chrome Menu icon on the far right of the Address bar.
3. Click on Settings, scroll to the bottom and click the Show Advanced Settings link.
4. Click on Change proxy settings (under Network).
5. Click the Security tab >> Trusted Sites icon, then click Sites. Enter the URL of your Trusted Site ex. https://marketplace.msu.edu/buy/, then click Add.
6. Click Close >> OK.

Mozilla Firefox settings:

• No special settings recommended.

Safari:

1. Launch Safari in regular mode, switch the Cookie setting to Always Allow.
2. Log out from Spartan Marketplace and restart Safari.
3. Login to KBA successfully, and switch it back to Allow from websites I visit.
   All future visits should work without issue unless user explicitly vaporizes ESM Cookies. If this happens user can repeat the sequence of steps which are fairly easy.
