Educational Technology Training - How to Call a Polycom Room System from the Zoom Desktop Application

Objective

Following these steps will add a COM Polycom room to an active Zoom conference.

Environment

Zoom Web Conferencing
COM Video Conference

Before You Begin

COM Video Conference endpoints use the following dialing method: 35.9.179.33##Roomextension - See KB 1386 (link) for a list of room extensions.

Steps

1. From an active Zoom conference, select Invite on the zoom bar.

2. Select Invite a Room System and choose the call out tab.

3. Make sure H.323 is selected and in the IP address area enter the address of the Polycom or Cisco system you wish to dial.
4. Select Call.
