Problem

You are attempting to log in to a computer lab machine and you receive the message: "The system administrator has locked the mouse and keyboard".

Resolution

You can find accessible computers from the following site: https://tech.msu.edu/service-catalog/teaching/computer-labs-classrooms/locations-hours/. The site includes maps of the rooms with usable machines circled.

Cause

This is by design - the computer is remotely disabled. You will need to find a machine that is not disabled. The disabled machines should have physical signs on them indicating they should not be used.
