Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) - Prompted to validate again with MFA on certain tiles

Problem

Many tiles in the EBS Portal also use the New MSU Unified Login Experience. However, when you click them, you are prompted to go through Multi-Factor Authentication again.

Resolution

  • When submitting your MFA authentication, check the box that says Do not challenge me on this device for the next 24 hours

Cause

This is a known issue with the new login experience.

Based on security roles, the EBS Portal provides MSU employees and retirees access to their unique combination of authorized administrative systems. Embedded as part of MSU’s HR/Payroll System, it provides direct access to various human resources functions.
