Athena - How to Amend a Closed Patient Encounter in Athena

Objective

Following these steps will modify an existing encounter that had previously been closed in Athena.

Environment

Before You Begin

You will need to have edit permissions to perform the steps below.

Steps

1. Display closed encounter
2. Locate green Done button
3. Click <downward arrow> attached to Done button
4. Select Amend Encounter
5. Make the necessary changes
6. Click Close
7. You're done! The encounter should now be modified as needed.
