Zoom Web Conferencing Error: "This meeting is for authorized registrants only, please use different email."

Problem

When attempting to join your first Zoom meeting that requires authentication, you receive an error: "This meeting is for authorized registrants only, please use different email."

Resolution

You must first activate your Zoom account by logging in to MSU Zoom.

1. Browse to https://msu.zoom.us/ (link).
2. Select Login.
3. Log in using your MSU email address and password.
4. You're done! Your MSU Zoom account has been provisioned and you should be able to join your meetings without any error.

Cause

MSU Zoom accounts are provisioned after your first log in to the system. Attempting to join a meeting before this login will result in this error.
