Objective
Following these steps will set up Okta FastPass on your machine, allowing you to use biometric and other credentials to complete multi-factor authentication (MFA), often referred to as Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Environment
Okta FastPass
macOS, not enrolled in JAMF
Before You Begin
Okta FastPass on macOS may be installed via JAMF if the device is enrolled. These instructions may be used if JAMF is not an option. You will need local administrator rights on your machine to complete this process. If you do not have that access, please contact your local IT person to assist.
You will need to have your Okta account created and a credential registered to your account to complete this process. Please see KB 957 (link) for those instructions.
