If you have configured a biometric option to use with Okta FastPass but you are still only getting prompted to use your password and then a MFA credential, select Verify with something else to get a list of alternate methods, which should include Use Okta FastPass, which will then allow you to use your biometric option.

Can I use Okta FastPass if my Device Does not Have Compatible Biometric Hardware?

Yes. Instead of looking at your camera or placing a finger on a fingerprint reader you can sign in with a PIN/PW option. This tends to be fewer characters and is still more secure than a standard password. Alternatively, an external webcam with infrared technology or an external fingerprint reader can be added to a device that doesn’t have the appropriate built-in hardware.
