GoogleApps - How To Copy Video Files from Google Drive to MediaSpace

Objective

Following these steps will copy video files stored on Google Drive into MediaSpace.

Environment

Before You Begin

Steps

  1. Log in to Google Drive (link).
  2. Filter files by Type and choose Videos.

  3. Select the video file(s) that you would like to move, right-click on the file, and select Download.

  4. Go to MediaSpace (link).
  5. Select Guest in the upper-right corner and choose Login.
  6. After logging in, select ADD NEW and choose Media Upload.
  7. Select Choose a file to upload.

  8. Your File Explorer will open. Locate your Downloads folder.
  9. Select the video file you downloaded from Google Drive and select Open.
  10. The file will upload to your MediaSpace account. From there, you can edit the video information.
  11. Select Save.
  12. You're done! You've downloaded the video file from Google Drive and uploaded it to MediaSpace.
