How to Save Your Spartan Mail to Your macOS Computer or Transfer it to Another Mail Service Using Mac Mail

Objective

Following these steps will allow you to create a backup copy of your Spartan Mail account on your local macOS device, or copy the emails to a new email service.

Environment

Before You Begin

If you use the Finder to move or copy mailboxes, the changes may not appear in Mail. Use the process below instead.

Steps

  1. In the Mail app  on your Mac, select a mailbox in the Mail sidebar.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • Move the mailbox: Drag the mailbox to a new location in the sidebar.
    • Copy the mailbox: Press and hold the Option key while you drag it to a new location.
