How to Add a Spartan Mail Account to macOS Outlook

Objective

Following these steps will add a connection to your Spartan Mail account to an existing install of Outlook on macOS.

Environment

macOS
Local install of Outlook

Before You Begin

You will need a local install of Outlook to follow these steps. See this article (link) if you need assistance installing Outlook on your device.

Steps

1. Open Outlook
2. Select the Outlook drop-down menu from the top of the screen, located next to the Apple menu
3. Select Preferences > Account
4. Select the plus (+) sign > New Account
5. Type your MSU email address
6. Select Continue
7. Type your MSU NetID password
8. Select Add Account
9. Select Done
10. You're done! You've added your Spartan Mail account to your macOS Outlook.
