Question
How do I activate my NetID as a new student at MSU?
Answer
The ID Office website has instructions how to activate your NetID (link).

You need the PAN to activate your NetID. Once it is ready, log in to your Admissions account and select Show Personal Access Number (PAN). Then you will be able to use the linked instructions above to activate your NetID.
