Objective
Following these steps will allow you to add time types for properly tracking time on an existing ticket.

Before You Begin
In TeamDynamix, time types are associated to ticket types. The TeamDynamix administrators have added the most commonly used time types on existing ticket types in an effort to make the list easy to navigate. In addition, when a ticket's ticket type is changed, an automated process will add any relevant time types. Should you find that you're adding the same time types consistently, submit a request to associate a relevant time type.
Time types can only be modified on existing tickets, and cannot be specified at ticket creation.
Steps
- Open the ticket and navigate to the T&E tab
- Click Manage then click Time Types
- Click Add
- Select the time type to add, then click Add
You can select more than one time type by holding CTRL and clicking additional entries.
- The time type is added and can now be used to record time
Additional Info
The Delete button does not delete the time type, nor does it delete any time added on the ticket. It removes it as a time type that can be used for recording time on that ticket. In general, there is no reason to delete a time type, and doing so should be avoided.
