How to Re-Grade Quiz Questions in D2L

Objective

Following these steps will revise the scores given on questions in a quiz in D2L

Steps

Regrading Multiple Attempts At Once:

1. Select the drop down next to the Quiz and select Grade
2. Go go the Questions tab
3. Select the radial button Update All Attempts
4. Select the question you want to regrade
5. Either select the radial button Give to attempts with answer and select the desired answer OR select give to all attempts __ points for all responses
6. You may need to select the right answer in the drop down and then give the appropriate number of points
7. Select Save

Note: These steps can be completed multiple times to give multiple answer options the same or different numbers of points. This feature overwrites previous points received for the answer option selected, and can be used to rescind points by entering 0. 

Regrading Individual Attempts:

1. Select Assessments > Quizzes
2. Select the down arrow next to the quiz you want to re-grade and select Grade
3. Find the person and attempt that you want to re-grade, then select it.
4. Update the scoring as needed, and then select the blue Save and Close button at the bottom of the page.

Grading and Regrading Individual Attempts by Question:

1. Select the drop down next the Quiz and select Grade
2. Go go the Questions tab
3. Select the question you want to regrade
4. Increase number per page to 20
5. Update scores as needed, making sure to save after each page.
