This feature is currently in Sandbox but will be coming to TeamDynamix soon. The
Campus Addresses site (link) is available now, however.
Overview
Some buildings around campus have multiple addresses assigned to them. These multiple addresses may be to account for different wings of a building, or by some other factor. The addresses and building designations are decided by the Addressing Committee. TeamDynamix (TDX) pulls location information about buildings around campus from the central repository, available on the Campus Addresses site (link). The precise address information is then available from a TDX ticket by selecting the room number from the Location field.
Viewing Address Information From a TDX Ticket
To find the precise address for a room on campus, open a ticket and select the Room Number from the Location field.
The address will be available towards the bottom of the Room Detail window that opens.
By way of example, the room A324 above, does not have the same address as the main building (Fee Hall), as shown below.
Viewing Address Information From the Campus Addresses Site
The URL for the Campus Addresses site is campusaddresses.msu.edu, which is linked above in the Overview section. On that site, if you select the Address List tab you can see the list of all addresses on the MSU campus. For buildings that have multiple addresses associated with them there will be a PDF icon at the far right of the screen you can use to pull up a drawing and explanation of which rooms belong to which address.
