Vended Product Administration is the management and maintenance of vended product platforms.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

MSU Departments may request and use the services of the Vended Product Administration Team.

How Do I Use It?

MSU IT offers support for Vended Applications which includes:

  • Product Administration
  • Assistance with application updates
  • Issue and outage debugging

GitLab External Account
If you are looking to collaborate with an individual from outside Michigan State University, you can request an external account be created in GitLab by sponsoring them. You must be an MSU faculty or staff member to sponsor an external account.
Jira Project
Jira is an issue and project tracking tool to plan, track and manage projects. Creating a Jira project allows you to customize your workflows, team collaboration and release software.
MSU Scholarships Access
This is a central application for scholarship administration. It uses a vended product called Blackbaud Award Management (formerly AcademicWorks). MSU Scholarships has a homepage with frequently asked questions and videos at https://scholarships.msu.edu.
Transport Setup
Transport is a tool for transferring large data files between MSU and non-MSU applications.
