Zoom Web Conferencing - How To Set Up a Recurring Meeting for a Course in D2L

Objective

Following these steps will set up a recurring Zoom meeting.

Before You Begin

Be sure to navigate to zoom.msu.edu (link) and set up the settings you wish to use for the recurring Zoom meetings.

Steps

  1. Navigate to D2L and log in using your MSU credentials.
  2. Select your course.
  3. Select Content in the navigation bar.
  4. Navigate to the section in which you wish to add the recurring Zoom meetings and select Existing Activities.
  5. Select External Learning Tools in the drop-down menu.
  6. Scroll down and select Zoom Meetings.
  7. "Zoom Meetings" has been added to the desired location. You can select the link to set up the recurring meetings.
  8. Select Schedule a New Meeting in the top right corner.
  9. Select the Enter your meeting topic field and fill out the title.
  10. Under Time Zone, select Recurring meeting and choose the details of the meetings, including how often you'd like for them to occur and when they should stop.
  11. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save.
  12. To see the meetings, select Communication on the navigation bar within the course.
  13. You're done! You've successfully set up a recurring Zoom meeting.
