These tools facilitate communication, file sharing, document creation, and team collaboration in an integrated online environment.

MSU Data Storage Finder (DSF)

The MSU Data Storage Finder (DSF) is a self-service, interactive tool that allows users to determine which storage services are most suitable for their needs. Different types of data require different modes of storage. Based on features needed and restrictions set in place for certain data, researchers will be able to choose a storage service accordingly.

Research Data and Reporting

This service provides data and reporting support to Sponsored Programs Administration, Office of Research Regulatory Support and other campus units for their adhoc reporting needs by integrating data from various enterprise applications like KC, KFS, CLICK, OOI and HR. This service ensures data accuracy and finds the research trends using several metrics which will lead to better management decisions.

Research Data Consulting

Research Data Consulting to support the full research data life-cycle. The consulting team has an intake process to evaluate requests and broker support to the appropriate technology services in ITS or across campus. This facilitation service provides project management and direct data support as needed.
