Asset Management

Asset Management is the process of tracking IT assets across the whole life cycle, from the point of procurement through disposal. MSU IT has identified that this process will include desktops, laptops, and tablets for participating departments. Asset Management is available for use to track other IT assets by request.

DHCP

Service allows users on the MSU network to obtain an IP address so that they may use the Campus Network.

DNS

Domain Name System - Service allows Internet connected devices to resolve hostnames to IP addresses.

F5 BIG-IP Application Delivery Controller

The F5 Application Delivery Controller (ADC) Platform can optimize the speed and reliability of your applications via both network and application layers. Using real-time protocol and traffic management decisions based on application and server conditions, extensive connection management, and TCP and content offloading, which dramatically improves page load times and the user experience.

Requests and issues regarding network firewall services.

Network Edge

MSU Information Technology offers network consulting, engineering, and installation services for MSU departments and units on and off campus. Network services include wired and wireless network design and installation.
